None of the three suspects in the murder of two men in a Vaughan neighbourhood last month were outlaw bikers, police say, even though one of their alleged victims was a former Hells Angel who belonged to the Satan’s Choice Motorcycle Club.
Victim Christian Belsito, 34, was also not an outlaw biker, York Regional Police told The Star.
The other victim, Pasquale (Squals) Casciato, 49, was a former Hells Angel who had recently joined the newly-revived Satan’s Choice Motorcycle Club.
“The investigation is still very much ongoing in terms of motive,” a statement to The Star from York police said Tuesday.
Belsito and Casciato were found outside the home of Casciato’s widowed mother, in the Kaiser Drive and Forest Drive area at approximately 5:30 p.m. on May 13.
Both men died from multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
There were two dozen shell casings and bullet holes on the normally quiet street where they were slain.

Mousseau was previously sentenced to 71 months in custody after a Michigan court heard he headed a group that smuggled cash, marijuana and cocaine between the Windsor area and the U.S.
Suspect Gerrard Murray, 48, of Windsor, is still at large.
Murray is wanted for two counts of first-degree murder and arson causing property damage.
Police said he is known to frequent the Greater Toronto Area, as well as other parts of southwestern Ontario.
Police say they executed a search warrant on May 28 at a Toronto residence, where they found a loaded firearm, as well as materials believed to be used in the making of explosives including a detonator, a pipe, bolts and Tannerite, a substance used in target practice.
Also on May 28, tactical officers assisted in a raid in Windsor, where three firearms and an extended magazine were found.
Belsito was described by family as “a devoted husband” and “a loving father to his son,” in an online death announcement.
