Legislation Award

Awarded to an individual(s) or an organization that sponsored, promoted, or otherwise caused the enactment of laws or regulations that targeted the criminal activities of outlaw motorcycle gangs, or enhanced the enforcement efforts against OMGs.

Nominations for this award should include the following elements:

• What types of legislation at the state, local, provincial or federal level directed at the Outlaw Motorcycle gangs was proposed and/or enacted
• Provide a copy of the civil or criminal law
• When was the law or legislation proposed and when was it enacted
• What has been the result of the legislation or law, i.e. cases, guns, drugs, stolen vehicles
• How many arrests? How many convictions?
• How many gang members? How many associates?
• What did the nominee(s) do that was extraordinary?
• What role(s) did the nominee(s) perform?
