Man found guilty of murder in Marion County gang shooting

FAIRMONT, W.Va. (WBOY) — John Wolfe, who was accused of initiating the shooting death of a man in 2022, has been found guilty of first-degree murder, conspiracy, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
The jury, which was comprised of six men and six women, deliberated for about 45 minutes Friday morning. Wolfe’s trial lasted three days.
Wolfe was one of five people charged with murder in the death of Henry Silver. All of the accused had ties to the Pagan’s Motorcycle Club, based on evidence presented on day two of the trial. A ski mask that was believed to have been worn by one of the murder suspects was also presented to the jury
on Thursday.
Friday afternoon, the jury deliberated again and determined in less than an hour that Wolfe will not receive mercy during his sentencing, which will take place in about two months.
