1 Arrested 1 cited after Sunday’s shooting on Arlington Ave. at a motorcycle club party

(WDTN) – One man was arrested and another was issued a citation after a shooting on Arlington Avenue early Sunday morning.
According to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, the call for a possible shooting came in at approximately 2:20 a.m. in the area of McCall and Gettysburg.
When our 2 NEWS weekend photographer arrived on the scene, he saw that the police activity was nearby in the 100 block of Arlington Avenue.
According to the Dayton Police Department, a 45-year-old man was shot. He arrived at the hospital by private conveyance with a non-life-threatening injury.
The investigation found that several shots were fired after an altercation took place at a party, which was hosted by a motorcycle club.
The organizer of the party was issued a nuisance party citation.
Officials said a 29-year-old man was arrested for “misconduct at an emergency and obstructing official business”.
The Dayton Police Department’s Violent Offender Unit is actively investigating this incident.
