Hells Angels targeted by drug-trafficking raids in Montérégie
The Sûreté du Québec is expected to continue executing search warrants Friday.

More than 140 police officers participated in a series of raids targeting the Hells Angels in the Montérégie region late Thursday.
The Sûreté du Québec said the operation was linked to a drug trafficking investigation and officers were expected to continue executing search warrants from Thursday evening into Friday.
Thursday’s raids follow an operation on May 1 in the towns of Chambly and Marieville and another on May 22 in Beloeil, McMasterville, St-Bruno-de-Montarville and St-Basile-le-Grand.
The results of Thursday’s operation had yet to be made public early Friday.
