Brampton man arrested after firearm bust by OPP biker unit

A 39-year-old Brampton man is facing numerous firearm-related charges after a bust by the OPP-led biker enforcement unit.

The biker enforcement unit — with help from the provincial weapons enforcement unit and Cambridge and Perth County detachments — executed a search warrant last Thursday in Brampton, the OPP said Monday in a news release, and arrested a member of the One Order Motorcycle Club, who was allegedly in violation of release orders

Police also said that a prohibited shotgun, non-restricted rifle, two imitation handguns, components to make seven restricted handguns, a vest containing ballistic panels, two cellphones and four One Order Motorcycle Club vests, including one with ballistic panels, were allegedly seized.

Sherwin Anthony “AJ” Jhingoree, 39, of Brampton faces firearm-related charges and three counts of breaching of a release order.
