On Saturday April 9, 2016, at approximately 1945 hours, a traffic altercation occurred between the Mongols outlaw motorcycle gang and the Iron Order motorcycle club. During this incident, it was reported that six Mongols surrounded three Iron Order members and forced them off of I-10 near the Loop 303. During the altercation, shots were reportedly fired by the Mongols towards the Iron Order members. This incident is one in a series of reported violence among outlaw motorcycle gangs across the United States. This summary is being provided by the GIITEM Major Offender District to help educate Troopers on the violence among outlaw motorcycle gangs, with specific attention on the Mongols and Iron Order.
