Lake of the Ozarks motorcycle gang president, two others facing drug and gun charges

PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) – A president of a motorcycle club at Lake of the Ozarks and two others are facing charges after authorities found several drugs and guns at a house last week.
According to court documents, 41-year-old Charles Monteer is charged with knowingly participating in criminal street gang activities, second-degree trafficking of drugs, delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, tampering with evidence, and interference with legal process.
Also, 34-year-old Arica Packard is charged with possession of a controlled substance. And 61-year-old Dennis Dotson is charged with delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. All three are from Sedalia.
The Pettis County Sheriff’s Office says on March 21, deputies and members of the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force searched a home in the 2800 block of State Highway TT in Sedalia.
When authorities were inside the house, they found Monetter trying to flush an item that got stuck in the bottom of the toilet.
During the search, authorities found:
• Just under an ounce of methamphetamine
• 10 grams of fentanyl
• LSD
• Three guns
• ammunition
• Drug paraphernalia
• $296 in cash
Investigators also found several motorcycle club items belonging to the Galloping Goose Motorcycle Club. According to court documents, Monteer was recently promoted to the president of the Lake Ozark chapter of the Galloping Goose. The club has a clubhouse at Lake of the Ozarks.
