Man found guilty for shooting and killing 2 men outside Denver motorcycle club
A Denver jury has convicted Shon McPherson for the 2023 shooting deaths of two men outside a motorcycle club.

DENVER — A Denver jury has convicted a man who shot and killed two men outside of a motorcycle club in 2023.
Shon McPherson, 34, was convicted of all eight counts he was facing, including:
• Two counts of first-degree murder after deliberation
• Two counts of first-degree murder with extreme indifference
• Two counts of attempted second-degree murder
• Attempted first-degree murder after deliberation
• Attempted first-degree murder with extreme indifference
• On November 5, 2023, McPherson shot and killed 43-year-old Michael David and 39-year-old Joshua Batts in the early morning at the Hell’s Lovers Motorcycle Club in northeast Denver. Three other people were shot, but survived, and the two suspects, McPherson and Todd Washington, were also injured by gunfire, according to police in 2023.
• Three people inside the club were also struck by gunfire.
• McPherson faces life in prison without the possibility of parole when he has his sentencing hearing on Aug. 11.
• Washington has pleaded not guilty in the case against him, according to court records. His next court appearance is set for July 7.
