Charges pending after Alberta Mounties find stolen cars, drugs, and weapons at ‘outlaw’ motorcycle club

Charges are pending after officers found weapons, drugs, and stolen vehicles following a search of a Sturgeon County “gang-affiliated” property belonging to the Warlocks Motorcycle Club, according to Morinville RCMP.
On Oct. 4, Mounties received a report about a stolen vehicle being tracked by GPS, they said in a news release Wednesday. Police said they tracked the vehicle to a property on Highway 37 in Sturgeon County where they detained five people and found:
a stolen 2018 Ram 3500
a stolen 2017 Ford F-350
a stolen 2014 Moto Guzzi California motorcycle
a stolen electric bicycle
a loaded handgun
an imitation handgun
a rifle
a Taser
13.5 grams of cocaine
Police said they also found several items associated with the Warlocks Motorcycle Club.
“The seizure of stolen property, drugs, (and) firearms demonstrates the close ties that many of these outlaw motorcycle clubs have with crime in our communities,” Staff Sgt. Darcy McGunigal said in the release.
Police said they are still investigating and charges are pending.
