A senior bikie has been callously dumped outside a hospital with gunshot wounds and burns after trying to leave an outlaw motorcycle gang, police say.
The 51-year-old man was a “patch member” of the Comanchero outlaw motorcycle gang, police said.
He was found collapsed outside Rockingham Hospital’s emergency department in Perth’s south about 10pm on Thursday with gunshot wounds in his upper body and leg.
He also suffered burns to his legs indicating someone had tried to remove tattoos relating to the Comanchero gang, Detective Senior Sergeant Anthony Thompson said.
“We believe he was dropped off and just left there, which is a rather callous way to deal with someone with life-threatening injuries ,” he told reporters on Friday.
