Im a new member to IOMGIA so still learning how the site and its applications work… Just wanted to share that i attended the Denver Motorcycle show and swap meet last week on 01/28/2018. It was the first time i have attended. As many of you are aware 2 years ago there was a fatal shooting between a Mongol MC member and an Iron Order MC member.
I spent the better part of 5 hours at the event looking at parts and enjoying the live music and custom bikes. I was surprised at the lack of OMG members flying their colors. I suppose it is because of the incident a couple years earlier. I only saw the Punishers MC present and actively flying their colors. Punishers MC is a LEO club. To the uneducated person they resemble a OMG perfectly except for the 1% patch. That is a topic for another time. I did come across a support table for the Denver Chapter 81. I did not speak with them however i was able to acquire a flyer for an after party that same night at a local hotel. On the flyer was also a list of up coming events for the 2018 riding season as well as locations and what 81 chapter would be sponsoring the event.
Over all i enjoyed the event. It would be silly to think that there were no club members in attendance. I dont think the actions between the Mongols OMG and the Iron Order MC has deterred other clubs from participating. I do think however that multiple clubs and members were in attendance they just were not wearing their cuts. This makes things tricky. Its great when the fly their colors and tell us who they are and where they are from.
I will be attending the Colorado Springs Bike show and Swap meet next month. I will be posting my experience on here… In the past i have seen multiple clubs at the event… The Sons Of Silence pull security for the event and it is not uncommon to see Banditos and Mognols with a booth recruiting.

There were no OMG members at this event because the Colorado COC hosted its own swap meet in Parker CO at the same time. All of the 1%ers were at this location. There is a lot more to this story. Get ahold of me and I can explain it all to you.

One of our guys was there to purchase parts for his bike. He ID’d himself to security and was told no weapons of any kind and no cuts were allowed to be worn.
