On April 22, 2012 the Hells Angles Long Island, NY Chapter will be hosting their 5th Annual Chili Cook Off. According to their web site, riders are to meet at the Chapters Club House located at 162 Henry St, Hempstead, NY and will depart at 11:30 AM. From there the group will ride to the Mixed Blood Line MC Clubhouse, Building 80- Knickerbockers Ave, Bohemia, NY, doors open at 11:30 AM. The Chapters web site is advertising that the event is full.

On April 21, 2012 the Hells Angles Tucson, AZ Chapter will be hosting a memorial benefit poker run and party. According to their web site, this event will take at the Chapters’ club house, 2819 S 12 Ave, Tucson. The poker run is to start at 10 am and end at noon, with the party to start afterward.

Hells Angels leader sentenced for home loan fraud

A second Hells Angels leader from the North Bay has been sentenced to federal prison for home loan fraud.

Josh Leo Johnson, 36, of Santa Rosa, vice president of the motorcycle club’s Sonoma chapter, was given a one-year sentence Wednesday in San Francisco by U.S. District Judge William Alsup, with the first six months to be spent in prison and the rest in home detention. Alsup also ordered him to pay $130,000 in restitution to the lender, Sun Trust Mortgage.

Johnson pleaded guilty in December to making false statements about his finances to get a loan for a home in Healdsburg in 2007. He lived in the home briefly before selling it.

His lawyer, Brendan Conroy, said in court papers that Johnson has worked for a construction company since 1998 and had no criminal convictions between that year and the current case.

Johnson was one of seven defendants indicted in September on charges of conspiring to defraud banks by falsifying loan applications for real estate in San Francisco and several North Bay communities in 2006 and 2007.

Raymond Foakes, a former president of the Hells Angels Sonoma chapter, pleaded guilty to fraud and money-laundering and was sentenced to nearly six years in prison by Alsup in January. The lead defendant, mortgage broker Jacob Moynihan of San Francisco, has pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiring to arrange more than $10 million in fraudulent home loans.

According to their web site, the Warlocks, Seminole County Chapter will be celebrating their 11th Anniversary on April 14, 2012 at their Clubhouse located at 1991 Corporate Square, Unit 181 Longwood, FL 32750. It is unknown to what time this event will start or when it will end. They are advertising good food, loud music and hot chicks.

According to their web site, the Bandidos will be celebrating the opening of a Probationary Chapter in Vicenza, Italy. Open source information states that this event is to take place April 21, 2012 with a start time of 4:00 PM with no end time. It is to take place at the Hotel Risto Pizza <> located at viale Europa, 15- Loc, Ca Di Valle- Jesolo. According to their web site, the Sons of Silence, Central Colorado Chapter will be hosting their 19th Annual Fallen Brothers Run. This event is to be held on April 14, 2012, meeting place is Studebakers located at 1840 North Academy Boulevard Colorado Springs, CO, with the first rider leaving at 11:00AM. The run will end at the Clubs Shop at 1230 Sherwood Lane, with the last rider in at 5:00 PM. They are advertising food, music, drinks, door prizes and a great time. $10.00 a person.

According to their web site, the Hells Angels, Bridgeport Connecticut Chapter will be hosting a “Run With 81” Event. This event is to take place on April 15 at 174-A Bishop Avenue, Bridgeport CT. Start time is 10:00 AM with a departure time of 11:00 AM.
