To all IOMGIA members,
Thanks for your continued IOMGIA membership. OMG’s continue to commit acts of violence and continue to instill fear into communities across the world by using violence and intimidation to further their criminal interests. By utilizing a “Team Effort” approach toward combating OMG’s, we will continue to have an impact on the criminal organizations. We just concluded an excellent conference in St. Louis and are already busy getting ready for Scottsdale 2012.
You are receiving the first IOMGIA newsletter and the new OMG United States map. Feel free to print and share the map within the law enforcement community.
We have also sent you a single PowerPoint slide that highlights the 2012 Scottsdale IOMGIA conference. Many if not most of you teach OMG classes in your area. We would be grateful if you would consider using the slide in your OMG or gang presentations and helping us spread the word about the next conference. Feel free to use the logo to make your own slide if you prefer.
Although it’s only been a two weeks since St. Louis, we are anxious for Scottsdale 2012. Several years ago, former IOMGIA Board member Bubba Williams reminded the entire board that IOMGIA is the “Mother Ship” of all OMG Investigators Associations. The IOMGIA Board understands that the only way we will be successful is by the continued partnership of IOMGIA and all other gang associations, the Kilogram (Thanks Kevin) and most importantly by the continued networking and training of our members worldwide.
