  • Hells Angels Hawaii Chapter Prospects

    An Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMG) operating in the state of Hawaii called the “Wrecking Machine” has recently renamed itself “Hell Angels Hawaii Chapter Prospects.” This new Hells Angels prospect chapter is being sponsored by the Hells Angels Dago (San Diego, CA) Chapter and is officially listed on the
    national Hells Angels website. As a chapter prospect, the members of the OMG will be attempting to prove their club’s loyalty and worth in order to move from a prospect chapter to a fully-patched Hells Angels Hawaii Chapter.

    In mid-May, 2012, members of the Wrecking Machine were seen at the Hells Angels – South Run in Santa Barbara, CA. They were wearing vests with the “Oahu Prospect” front patch and Hawaii bottom rocker. Hells Angels members from the Dago, Fresno County, Frisco, and Oakland (CA) chapters were seen at this run, as well as chapters from Arizona and Nevada. Between 100-
    200 members, prospects and associates attended this event. No major incidents
    occurred during the weekend.

    WASHINGTON — An unprecedented federal government effort to seize the Mongols Motorcycle Club’s trademark has quietly become a quarter-of-a-million-dollar headache for the Justice Department.

    Four years after prosecutors grabbed attention by lassoing the Mongols’ logo – a ponytailed man riding a motorcycle – along with myriad club members in Southern California, an appellate court must sort out what the federal government might owe the club’s attorneys.

    ADL AND IACP LAUNCH “HATE ID” HATE SYMBOLS AND INDICATORS MOBILE WEBSITE FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT

    New York, NY, September 27, 2012…The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) are launching a new mobile web site  (www.adl.org/hateid) that will enable law enforcement officers to quickly and easily access ADL’s expert information on hate symbols, international terrorist symbols, and hate crime indicators from anywhere using their handheld mobile devices.

    The site includes graphics and numerical symbols and acronyms used as shorthand by hate groups, with background on each symbol’s meaning and history.  The new resource will help detectives and patrol officers to decipher the significance of hate symbols, tattoos or graffiti from the scene of a crime.
