    These photos were taken off of the Facebook Page of a Salem MA Latin King Gang member in late September. This is not the first time we have seen Latin Kings and Hells Angels collaborating in MA. Has anyone seen this elsewhere? Please let me know if this is a growing trend. To my knowledge although it looks like a MC jacket, and there have been whispers of a Latin King OMG forming, looking at the front patching, it seems like it hasn’t quite reached OMG level yet, no hierarchy may be an issue because of already existing hierarchy within Latin Kings.

  • International Gang Awareness Day

    IGAD 2016 – September 19th

    NAGIA is proud to announce the 1st annual International Gang Awareness Day (IGAD). IGAD is held annually on the third Monday of September and is designed to coincide with the beginning of the school year when gangs being much of their new recruiting efforts.

    NAGIA and its 26 associate organizations from around the US and Canada are requesting local law enforcement agencies dedicate a training or outreach program to groups in their jurisdiction. NAGIA also has presenters in Mexico, Africa and South America who will participate on the same day.

    The day is designed to bring global awareness to the violent problems criminal street gangs pose on our communities. This is an excellent opportunity for local agencies to work in concert with community organizations designed to reach at risk children who are susceptible to gang recruitment techniques.

    Some information for those attending the upcoming IOMGIA Conference.

    1. The Conference Hotel is sold out.  Some alternatives include The Raphael, Residence Inn Kansas City Country Club Plaza, Courtyard Kansas City Country Club Plaza, Kansas City Marriott County Club Plaza, Holiday Inn Country Club Plaza, Best Western Plus Seville Plaza Hotel and Sheraton Suites Country Club Plaza.
    2. Transportation from the airport to the hotel is your responsibility. The hotel does not have a shuttle.
    3. If you have a guest, a tentative guest agenda has been created. Please email ramona.moretta@iomgia.net for further details

    IOMGIA Members and NAGIA Presidents,

    We are pleased to be able to share with our fellow practitioners and other associations, the new IOMGIA Summer 2016 Bulletin. A special thanks to IOMGIA Board members Kelly Moody, San Diego County SO and Shelli Kelly, San Bernadino County SO for their work on this bulletin. And also to John Woosnam, Las Vegas Metro, Dan Michener St. Paul Police, and out other contributors including Ola, John and Akhim, IOMGIA European Board members, Bruce Groenewegan, IOMGIA Australian Board member.

    IOMGIA recognizes that each and everyone of our associations has members that specialize in OMG’s. IOMGIA welcomes and encourages anyone that is interested in submitting an article for the IOMGIA bulletin to participate. It could be as much as a page long article, or as short as a photograph and a description of a new patch, new gang or anything and everything of interest.

    Included in the Bulletin is a SAVE THE DATE for IOMGIA Scottsdale 2017. We have decided to return to Scottsdale as the host hotel and location is a clear favorite for our attendees, and for many of our attendees families.

    If you are attending the conference this year, please disregard this e-mail, your membership will continue for a year following the conference.

    For those of you unable to attend this years conference – your membership will expire at the end of this month. In order to maintain current membership, please complete the Membership Application (include a copy of your work issued photo ID). You will be directed to the payment page automatically. The member fee is $25/US/ Annually.
