State, defense rest in trial of Waco attorney charged in murder-for-hire scheme

WACO, Texas (KWTX) – The State of Texas and the defense both rested their cases Thursday afternoon in the murder-for-hire trial of Waco Attorney Seth Sutton.
Sutton, 48, president of the Red Mouse Cult motorcycle club, is on trial in Waco’s 19th State District Court on criminal solicitation of capital murder charges. An undercover Waco police officer earlier this week testified that Sutton plotted to kill Waco attorney Marcus Beaudin because Sutton’s female family member reported Beaudin molested her when she was 14.
Sutton did not testify in his own defense. His defense attorney told jurors that Beaudin was not told of any potential threat against his life by police officers during the investigation. He then rested the defense’s case.
Jury summations will begin at 8:30 Friday.

Note: There was no publicly available information on the motorcycle gang that Steven Brown aka “Steve-O” was a member of.

West Columbia man motorcycle gang member sentenced to 25 years in prison for drug trafficking

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – A West Columbia motorcycle gang member was sentenced to 25 years in prison for trafficking meth.
Steven Brown known as “Steve-O” was convicted of trafficking 400 grams or more of methamphetamine by a Lexington County jury last week.
He was sentenced on Aug. 10, 2023, by Circuit Court Judge Thomas W. Cooper.
In 2018, investigators from the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department narcotics enforcement and crime reduction teams received information that Brown was trafficking drugs.
During an ongoing investigation in 2020, law enforcement got more information that Brown would travel to Atlanta, Georgia, to purchase large amounts of meth to bring back into Lexington County.
So in June of that year, a criminal interdiction team with a drug detection K9 did a traffic stop on Brown’s vehicle during his return trip from Atlanta.
The K9 at the scene smelled the presence of drugs in Brown’s car and a search of his vehicle began.
During the beginning of the vehicle search, Brown told investigators “it’s in the floorboard.”
Around 3 kilograms/7 pounds of a substance consistent with meth was in three separate containers inside a liquor box in the vehicle’s rear passenger floorboard.
Text messages from Brown’s phone revealed he had been in contact with a supplier in the Atlanta area.
The messages showed detailed plans and information about price negotiations between Brown and the supplier.
Investigators said a chemical analysis of the substance found confirmed that it was in fact methamphetamine.
Officials say he is not eligible for parole.

Florida man accused of sexually battering young children may have victimized others: HCSO

SPRING HILL, Fla. – A man known as ‘Radical Randy’ has been arrested after detectives say two different children said they were sexually battered by him.
Deputies say Randy Akers, 60, was arrested in Hernando County by the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force following an in-depth investigation by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives say Akers is accused of sexually battering a child between the ages of four and five years old, along with another eight-year-old child. The victims said the abuse went back as far as 2002, according to HCSO.
Detectives believe Akers may have had access to more children and that they could have been victimized because he was in a motorcycle club called Baggerz & Tailz.
According to HCSO, Akers is known to the community as “Radical Randy” and is the owner of the Battle of the Baggers Bike Shows.
“This disgusting man can no longer ruin the lives of young children thanks to the tenacity of our detectives,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “My thoughts go out to the innocent children that this vile human hurt, and I hope their healing journey can begin with this man behind bars.”
Akers has been charged with seven counts of sexual batter on a child under the age of 12, sexual battery familial or custodial authority, and five counts of lewd or lascivious molestation on a victim under the age of 12.

A man with a Nazi SS emblem engraved on his motorcycle was spotted at Bauhaus Brew Labs in Northeast Minneapolis.

A Reddit post by user spacey_face shows a picture of the motorcycle parked for the monthly “Moto Nite” event. Around the “SS,” it reads: “Support your local white boy.”

The Reddit user said the owner of the bike was confronted by people attending and eventually left. The man in question was reportedly wearing a Hells Outcast vest, which is a motorcycle gang based out of St. Paul.

The event is hosted by Bauhaus and run by motorcycle enthusiast group The Moto Collective throughout the summer, with motorcycles, scooters, and other unique vehicles brought to the brewery every second Thursday of the month.

The brewery said it was “annoyed as anyone” by the biker’s Nazi symbol in a Facebook comment, mentioning it had already doubled its security for the event, and turned away “a few of these types” from the last Moto Nite.

“Unfortunately, this one seems to have gotten in unnoticed,” Bauhaus said.

“Anyone displaying these kinds of symbols or supporting the ideology they represent is absolutely not welcome in our taproom or at our events and we’ll continue ramping up our efforts to make that extremely clear to anyone who might think to show up with this nonsense on display.”

The SS symbol was used to signify the Schutzstaffel, which was initially the protection squad that serves as Adolf Hitler’s personal bodyguard unit, but eventually became the paramilitary organization that enforced the Nazi Regime’s police state.

HELLS Angels motorcycle club have opened a clubhouse in county Limerick, the Leader can reveal.
A celebration was organised with dozens of bikers from Limerick and across Ireland attending the event. It was held at the location of their new clubhouse, just off the N24, near Pallasgreen.
The arrival of the Hells Angels has caused concern among some locals in the wider Pallasgreen area. The Leader understands that gardai in Limerick are aware of the Hells Angels’ arrival in Limerick
With a membership of over 6,000, and 467 chapters in 59 countries, the Hells Angels is the largest motorcycle club in the world
One Pallasgreen local told the Leader of their concerns.
“Look, I’m sure they are passionate about their Harley Davidsons and going for bike rides and what not but you do read an awful lot in the press about them which would make you uneasy,” said the local.
While gardai are aware of the opening of the Hells Angels clubhouse on the weekend before last, it was handled very differently to the official initiation of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club Limerick chapter seven years ago.
That gathering in 2016 was heavily policed by local gardai, detectives and the Regional Support Unit.
The Limerick Leader contacted Hells Angels MC Ireland asking what their plans for the clubhouse are and if they would like to allay the concerns of some locals but there was no response at the time of going to press.
The Leader also contacted a person who is familiar with the motorbike club scene and asked them about the Hells Angels coming to Pallasgreen.
“They are sound. They took over an empty building and made a fine job of it. People are watching too much TV. They are a nice bunch of lads,” they told the Leader.

Philadelphia biker gang member convicted of murdering gang prospect

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — The Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday that a man accused of murdering a biker gang prospect has been found guilty.
Michael DiMauro, 50, was convicted on all charges in the killing of 33-year-old David Rossillo Jr.
Investigators say DiMauro, a member of the Warlocks motorcycle gang, dumped Rossillo’s body in a crypt at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Southwest Philadelphia.
Detectives located the crypt in April 2020 and made a shocking discovery.
“Then the crypt was opened, that’s when I got a phone call,” Krasner said. “They had not only found the body of the murder victim they were seeking, but they had found a second murder victim.”
The second person found dead was identified as 36-year-old Keith Palumbo.
Another Warlocks gang member, Michael DeLuca, was later arrested and pleaded guilty to third-degree murder in Palumbo’s killing.

Revving up for justice: RTP launches covert crackdown on rogue motorcycle clubs

A countdown is underway for five prominent foreign motorcycle clubs that have been operating covertly within Thailand‘s borders. This comes as the Royal Thai Police (RTP) intensifies its efforts following a successful crackdown on the infamous Outlaws Motorcycle Club in Pattaya last month. The RTP’s relentless pursuit, initiated on July 21, resulted in the arrest of the alleged Austrian group leader just as he was about to flee the country, showcasing the RTP’s determination.

According to RTP disclosures, the notorious biking club, led by the Austrian national, has been involved in cross-border criminal activities. They were allegedly linked to a specific incident that occurred last June in Pattaya. During a hideout at a Bangkok-based Outlaws clubhouse, Olaf Thorsten Brinkmann, a 62 year old German property broker and a member of the German gang, was apprehended.

The arrest of Brinkmann and his three associates, coupled with the crackdown on the Outlaws Motorcycle Club, sets the stage for the RTP’s current mission against five major motorcycle clubs operating across the nation. These clubs include the Outlaws Motorcycle Club (Outlaws MC), Hells Angels Motorcycle Club (Hells Angels), Bandidos Motorcycle Club (the Bandido Nation), Mongols Motorcycle Club (the Mongol Brotherhood), and Vagos Motorcycle Club (also known as the Green Nation).

Mainly overseen by Australian citizens, these clubs thrive in popular tourist destinations like Phuket, Koh Samui in Surat Thani, and Pattaya. Allegedly, they demand protection fees from foreigners running businesses in these areas. In some cases, the risk escalates to abduction or murder of foreigners for monetary gains, according to the RTP.

Intriguingly, these gangs are careful not to engage in any malicious activities involving Thai individuals, fully aware that such actions would lead to severe consequences. However, their devastating influence extends beyond Thailand’s borders; their international member cliques are allegedly involved in a range of illicit activities, including narcotics trafficking, assault, theft, loan-sharking, fraud, money laundering, and even murder, reported Pattaya News.

“It seems that Thailand has become a hotbed for such gangs, primarily due to a lack of stringent law enforcement and corrupt individuals,” remarked Deputy National Police Chief Police General Surachate “Big Joke” Hakparn.

Big Joke highlighted the antiquated 1979 Immigration Act, which allows foreign nationals aged over 50 to easily settle in Thailand provided they possess 800,000 baht in their bank account or an income certificate with monthly remittance of not less than 65,000 baht.
Big Joke noted that due to the presence of these menacing gangs, many foreign visitors have growing reservations about visiting Pattaya or investing in the Eastern Seaboard, leading to significant damage to the nation. He stressed on the urgency for the RTP to restore the faith of the tourists by rooting out not just the gangs, but also Thai officials found colluding with them.

He pledged his commitment to proposing modifications to the immigration law, especially concerning retirement visa extensions, through the police chief when the new government assumes office. The aim is to sieve out undesirables and ensure the law benefits genuine investors or individuals looking to spend their lives peacefully in Thailand.

Big Joke also confirmed the successful elimination of one such gang, the Outlaws, from Pattaya, and the police are now extending their investigation to Phuket and Koh Samui.

Hit-and-run: 7 motorcyclists injured after SUV plows into riding group in Johnston County

Seven motorcyclists were injured after a major collision that shut down US-70 in Johnston County on Saturday night.

A group of riders from the Goldsboro motorcycle club known as “Twisted Kings” were riding together towards Raleigh, when they say an SUV merged into the group’s formation, hitting multiple people – before taking off and driving away.

This happened on US-70 near Pine Level in Johnston County. The road was completely shut down for several hours after the crash. One witness told WRAL News there were large bikes ‘scattered all over the roadway.’

Five of the riders were rushed to the hospital. Two others declined to be transported.
Members from other clubs came to the rescue of those involved in the Johnson County accident. According to bikers at the scene, it is a long-standing tradition that when riders are down, other bikers stop to help.

State Highway Patrol is still looking for the driver responsible. They say the suspect is in a black SUV which should have damage to it’s right-rear.

Police Arrest 4 Outlaws Motorcycle Club Members in Connection to Germans Murder

Police have arrested four international suspects, including the leader of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club in Pattaya, Thailand in connection to the murder of German property broker, Hans Peter Walter Mack.
According to Pol Gen Surachate Hakparn, Deputy National Police Chief, police expanded their investigations into the motorbike gang and discovered it had members of numerous nationalities.
He said that the gang was involved in illicit activities such as drug trafficking and human trafficking.
The raid originates from the investigation into Mack’s murder on June 4, after which police detained German national Olaf Thorsten Brinkmann, 52, a member of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club, and three other suspects: Petra Christl Grundgreif, 54, Nicole Frevel, 52, and Shahrukh Karim Uddin, 27.
Acting on the tip, police raided eight locations on Friday to apprehend the gang’s leader, Mr Thomas, an Austrian national.
During the raid, police apprehended Mr Thomas at a residence in Bang Lamung district’s tambon Nong Prue as he was packing to depart the country.
The police took his Harley Davidson motorcycle and other evidence. According to police, Mr Thomas admitted to being the gang’s leader but resigned after learning of Mack’s death.
Police conducted a background check and discovered that the suspect had an outstanding arrest warrant for fraud and entering false information into a computer system.
Mr Thomas was arrested and sent to the Pattaya police station for further legal proceedings. Police also apprehended another gang member, Danny, a German national, at Chokchai Garden Home 2 in tambon Nong Prue.
The suspect also tested positive for the use of illegal drugs. The police also seized his Kawasaki Z900 motorbike. At other places, police apprehended Daniel, an American national, and Theodor, a Swiss national.
After the Chonburi Immigration Office and Investigation Immigration Division 3 discovered that the two suspects had violated the Immigration Act 1979, their visas were cancelled.
During the raid, police confiscated their four motorcycles.
Police, according to Pol Gen Surachate, will increase their investigations into the Outlaws Motorcycle Club and other criminal gangs that have perpetrated crimes in the kingdom.
Outlaws Motorcycle Club
The Outlaws Motorcycle Club is a global outlaw motorcycle club founded in 1935 in McCook, Illinois. The Outlaws, like many other outlaw motorcycle organisations, have a terrible reputation for indulging in illicit activities, particularly those involving drugs, arms trafficking, and organised crime. Along with the Hells Angels, Bandidos, and Pagans, they are regarded one of the “Big Four” outlaw motorcycle groups.
The club’s emblem consists of a skull and crossed pistons in black and white. The motto of the club is “God Forgives, Outlaws Don’t.”
The Outlaws have been involved in a variety of illicit acts throughout their history, leading to clashes with law police and competing motorcycle organisations. Over the years, their actions and rivalry have culminated in a number of violent occurrences.
It’s crucial to remember that not all Outlaws Motorcycle group members are involved in criminal activity; others may join the group for the companionship and sense of community it provides. The club’s involvement in illicit activities, on the other hand, has resulted in considerable law enforcement investigation and measures to curb their criminal operations.
As with any outlaw motorbike club, it’s critical to exercise caution and avoid forming broad assumptions about individual members based merely on the organisation’s reputation. Not every member is involved in illegal activities, and some chapters or individuals may be more concerned with motorcycling culture and camaraderie than with criminal activity.
