Police have charged a Comanchero gang member with firearms and drug offences.
Just after 5.30pm on Thursday 15 February, Crime Gangs Task Force and STAR Operations officers attended an address in Plympton Park where they will allege a man threw a bag containing a loaded firearm onto a neighbouring roof.
Police searched the home and located a trafficable quantity of methamphetamine, $20,000 and numerous fake driver’s licences.
A 34-year-old man from Middleton was arrested and charged with possessing a firearm without a licence and trafficking in a controlled drug. He was refused police bail and appeared in court on Friday 16 February where he was remanded in custody to re-appear on 26 February.

Hells Angel charged with 2023 murder
Lloyd Robinson, 40, was arrested in Kelowna on one count of second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing on May 27, 2023 of Jonathan Bulloch.

Ten years after he was convicted in a brutal attack on a cabbie, the son of an original member of the East End Hells Angels has been charged with murder.

Vancouver police announced Friday that Lloyd Peter Robinson, 40, was arrested in Kelowna on one count of second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing on May 27, 2023 of Jonathan James Bulloch.
Bulloch was stabbed around 10 p.m. following an altercation near Davie and Bute streets in Vancouver’s West End. He was taken to hospital, but later died.

“VPD homicide investigators spent more than eight months gathering and analyzing evidence, which led them to today’s arrest at a house in Kelowna’s Glenmore neighbourhood,” Sgt. Steve Addison said in a news release.
He said VPD officers had support during the arrest from the anti-gang enforcement unit, Kelowna RCMP, and the RCMP’s Federal Serious Organized Crime division.

In February 2014, Robinson was sentenced to 16 months in jail after he pleaded guilty to assault causing bodily harm for smashing in the face of a Yellow cab driver after making racial slurs to him.

At the time, the driver told Postmedia that Robinson tried to cover the security camera in the taxi and didn’t want to pay the $6.60 fare.

Robinson’s father, Louie Robinson, was an original member of the East End Hells Angels but retired from the club after a major undercover investigation in which police agent Micheal Plante infiltrated the gang by getting close to him.

The younger Robinson was mentioned in Plante’s evidence in the B.C. government’s civil forfeiture case against the bikers when the agent testified Louie Robinson made him drive his son to and from work and to the gym. And Plante said Plante said “that in 2003 he drove Mr. Robinson’s son to a hotel in Penticton ‘to hide him out.’”
East End chapter president John Bryce is Lloyd Robinson’s uncle.

Lloyd Robinson has other convictions, including for assault in North Vancouver in 2018 and in Kelowna in 2012. Both resulted in probation orders only.

He also faced allegations of uttering threats in August 2012 after which a peace bond was issued in February 2013.
And in July 2004, he was sentenced to two years in jail for a baseball bat attack on a teenager outside the Park Royal Shopping Centre.

Denton police arrest armed Bandidos gang member in traffic stop, report states

Denton police arrested a 31-year-old motorcycle gang member Tuesday on a charge of unlawfully possessing a handgun, according to a police report.

At about 10:58 p.m., the report states, an officer observed two motorcyclists weaving through traffic without using their turn signals.

The officer conducted a traffic stop on the motorcycles in the 1700 block of West University Drive.
The driver of a 2020 Harley-Davidson bike wore a leather vest with the word “Bandidos” written across it, according to the report.

The report states that the driver admitted he was carrying a firearm, and the officer located a 9mm handgun in a holster on the man’s belt.

A search of the driver’s name in a national criminal database returned results that indicated he is a criminal gang member, according to the report.

The officer arrested the man without incident. He was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a gang member.

Texas law prohibits members of criminal street gangs from carrying handguns in some circumstances, such as in a vehicle.

The Bandidos Motorcycle Club is an outlaw motorcycle club that formed in San Leon in 1966, and members have been implicated in numerous criminal cases around the U.S.

One example is a 2015 shootout at a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco, where Bandidos and other outlaw motorcycle clubs had gathered. Nine people were killed in the shootout with law enforcement. A total of 155 bikers were indicted on charges of organized crime, but by 2019, all charges were dropped

Three motorcyclists injured in a shooting by other motorcycle riders on U.S. Highway 95 in 2022 filed a lawsuit Tuesday accusing a Henderson company of allowing the other riders to hide their bikes prior to the attack.

Attorneys representing Ricardo Velazquez, Carrie Chapin and Alejandro Castillo claim that Southern Nevada Powersports, doing business as Henderson Harley Davidson, and other unidentified defendants hid the motorcycles of the alleged shooters on its property “to shield knowledge of their presence from law enforcement,” the lawsuit states.

A person who answered the phone Wednesday at Henderson Harley Davidson said that the business would not have a comment on the lawsuit.

The plaintiffs were among the six men wounded on May 29, 2022, when the other riders drove up and opened fire as both sides drove north on the freeway past the exit on Wagonwheel Drive in Henderson, according to the Henderson Police Department.

On that date, the president of the Hells Angels Las Vegas Chapter, Richard Devries, and two other men whom Clark County prosecutors called “prospects” of the gang, Russell Smith and Stephen Alo, were arrested by Henderson police on suspicion of attempted murder and other charges.

Henderson police then identified Velazquez, Chapin and Castillo as members of the rival Vagos biker gang.
However, the lawsuit does not mention the names of either gang.

The plaintiffs “sustained significant, life-threatening injuries” in the gunfire and then the other riders “returned to the Defendant’s place of business and, again, secreted their motorcycles,” according to the filing.
“Defendant’s employees were complicit in their actions since they were aware the shooting was going to take place and made arrangements for the motorcycle gang members to hide their motorcycles at the place of business,” the lawsuit claims.

The wounded plaintiffs will in the future “suffer serious and disabling injuries including but not limited to, surgery as well as injuries in an about the limbs, head and systems. both physical and mental, some and/or all of which may be permanent in nature,” the lawsuit states.

The Harley Davidson business had a prior business and personal relationship with the plaintiffs and their biker group for many years before the shooting and “should have acted affirmatively to not shield a party/parties it knew were going to grievously harm” the plaintiffs, it states.

The lawsuit alleges gross negligence, negligent hiring of employees and breach of contract of good faith and fair dealing and requests past general and special damages and future general and special damages together in excess of $60,000.

Fury as infamous neo-Nazi biker gang ‘Mongrel Mob’ launches bid to set up UK chapter

The Mongrel Mob has around 2,500 members in New Zealand and is known for gang warfare, organised crime, and sexual violence – and it’s planning to expand to the UK

A notorious motorbike gang known for organised crime and sexual violence is feared to have expanded into the UK.
The Mongrel Mob has shared on social media how it has set up shop in Gloucester under the name the “Riders”, following popularity in its home country of New Zealand.

It has more than 2,500 members there, who allegedly salute by shouting the Nazi salute – “Sieg Heil” or “Sieg f***** Heil”, and pull the “shaka” sign with their thumb and pinkie finger. Some members even tattoo their faces with the swastika or words, like “Mighty Mongrel Mob” or “Notorious”.

So the expansion to Gloucester, a cathedral city with more than 130,000 residents in the southwest of England, has caused unease as The Riders also use the same patch – a red and black English bulldog wearing a Wehrmacht steel helmet. Its numbers appear to be growing with videos showing the Gloucester Riders patching new members.
Mongrel Mob members in New Zealand keep large XL Bully-style dogs for protection. The XL Bully has, this year, been outlawed in the UK after a spate of attacks – including fatal horrors – last year.

New Zealand Herald Investigations Reporter and author Jared Savage said the New Zealand Mongrel Mob has committed “terrible acts of violence against rival gangs”. He said the Mongrel Mob follow an ideology known as ‘mongrelism’ characterised by “lawlessness and extreme anti-social behaviour”. The Nazi iconography is “a calculated ‘f*** you’ to society”, he said.

“There have been a lot of gang-related murders committed by the [New Zealand] Mongrel Mob in recent years. Some members of the [New Zealand] Mongrel Mob are also heavily involved in organised crime, particularly the manufacture and supply of methamphetamine.”

Mr Savage said he wasn’t surprised to hear that a chapter had spread to the UK, as other chapters had been found in Australia and Fiji in recent years. He said: “I assume someone senior in the NZ Mongrel Mob has formed a relationship with them along the way, then given their blessing to establish a chapter in the UK. If not, the consequences of purporting to be a member of the Mongrel Mob, and wearing a patch, would be dire.” Mongrel Mob Riders Gloucester did not want to comment, The Sun says.

But it is said the mobsters have participated in cancer charity walks in the UK since The Riders was established. A purported member also says online that it helps encourage other members of a “modern way of living”. Mirror has approached this member for comment on behalf of the group.

A recently deported Melbourne Hells Angels boss who murdered a gang prospect friend on Boxing Day two years ago – sparking an hours-long standoff with Auckland police, who rescued his barricaded wife and children through a bedroom window – tried to argue one last time that the shooting was an accident rather than intentional.

But Justice Sally Fitzgerald flatly rejected the suggestion this week as she sentenced Andrew Lamositele-Brown, 40, to life imprisonment, describing the shooting as a fit of drunken, volatile aggression.

Jurors in the High Court at Auckland had also “clearly rejected” the claim, the judge noted, recalling the group’s unusually fast verdict at the trial’s end in October.

Lamositele-Brown, also known as Andrew Tovia Fepuleai, sat in the dock Thursday with his head bowed and an expressive frown for most of the hearing as Justice Fitzgerald determined the sentence, which included a minimum term of imprisonment of 12 years and eight months before he could apply for parole.

The father-of-four appeared to briefly wipe away tears as the family of victim Petau Petau described how he was a single father who had fought for custody of his two children.

“My nieces don’t get to see their dad anymore because you took that away from them,” Petau’s sister said during a victim impact statement, describing her brother as the “comedian of the family” who had “a sense of humour like no other”.

“Everyone loved Petau,” she said.

“We forgive you, Andrew, but we can never forget that day or what happened,” the mother said in a statement that was later translated into English by her daughter. “God bless your children, Andrew, as well as the children of Petau.”

Petau had spent Christmas Day that year having a picnic at a local cemetery with his extended family – a way of including the memories of his late father and a recently deceased sibling in the day’s festivities.

Lamositele-Brown, meanwhile, had spent most of the day at his Flat Bush home either alone or with his infant son – drinking to excess as his partner and three other children visited relatives in Auckland.

It was the family’s first Christmas living in New Zealand in nearly a decade. He had been deported from Australia six months earlier, targeted for removal as a 501 because of his rank as president of the bikie gang’s Melbourne-based Darkside chapter.

The defendant and the victim exchanged some friendly texts early the next morning and Petau arrived at Lamositele-Brown’s Flat Bush, South Auckland home on his Harley-Davidson around 1am. The shooting that occurred a short time later was described by Crown prosecutor Chris Howard as “a completely unprovoked, needless killing of a defenceless victim”.

What prompted it remains in dispute, with Lamositele-Brown claiming on the witness stand that he was showing off a newly acquired pistol when it accidentally discharged and prosecutors suggesting he intentionally fired at Petau due to unfounded, drunken jealousy over his wife.

Defence lawyer Vivienne Feyen urged the judge to consider the killing a “reckless murder” rather than an intentional one, describing her client as having “expressed genuine and sincere grief for the loss of his friend”.
“Mr Lamisitele-Brown has never, ever denied that he is responsible for the death of his friend,” she added. “What he contested was the circumstances.”

In her own evaluation of the evidence, Justice Fitzgerald noted the understandable difficulty the defendant’s partner and two daughters had testifying against him at trial. She dismissed much of what they said in the witness box, adding that their initial statements to police on the night of the standoff – more damning to the defendant – were more believable.

Lamositele-Brown’s version of events, she added, was “wholly unpersuasive”. She said the shooting appeared to her to be “a somewhat impulsive and tragic” response to “some perceived slight against you”.

“Something triggered serious aggression in you shortly after he arrived.”

Fitzgerald emphasised that the shooting did not appear to be directly gang-related even though both men were associated with the Hells Angels. But the defendant’s illegal possession of a loaded semi-automatic pistol “was in some way related to your role in the gang”, she said.

She also noted the substantial amount of methamphetamine and $46,000 in cash that were found in the defendant’s house after the standoff, which she described as having the hallmarks of a commercial drug dealing enterprise. His minimum term of imprisonment was increased by 20 months to reflect the drug and firearms charges, which he pleaded guilty to six weeks before his murder trial.

The judge noted at the end of the hearing that Lamositele-Brown has since claimed to have cut ties with the Hells Angels.

“I sincerely hope that is the case,” she said. “Nothing good comes from being associated with a gang.”
As she said it, the entire front row of the courtroom gallery appeared to be filled with Hells Angels members – some of whom had sat quietly through the entire trial. However, the group appeared to be there in support of Petau’s family, with at least one member wearing a remembrance T-shirt for the victim.

Members declined to comment on the case as they gathered outside the courthouse after the sentencing.

Firearms, thousands of doses worth of drugs seized in Vancouver Island raids

Drugs and firearms were seized as police raided several Greater Victoria properties on Jan. 31, including a spot associated with a local motorcycle club.

Officers from various police agencies seized 450 grams of fentanyl, 150 grams of methamphetamine, $46,000 in cash, an SKS rifle and handguns. Police say that amount of fentanyl alone would make up at least 4,500 individual doses.
This number could be drastically higher and in the tens of thousands based on the purity level of the fentanyl,” said West Shore RCMP media relations officer Cpl. Nancy Saggar.

The raids were performed in Colwood, View Royal, North Saanich and Victoria. One Colwood woman and two Langford men were arrested during the enforcement. One of the Langford men was a full-patch member of the Savages Motorcycle Club.

“The Savages are related to drug trafficking…we believe that there’s strong evidence there to associate them to gang activity as well as drug trafficking,” said Saggar.

The Savages group is known to be a support club of the Hells Angels, police noted.
The operation targeted alleged dealers and commercial operations that police said dealt with the storage, supply and logistics of drug trafficking carried out by the motorcycle club.

Nine different search warrants were carried out during the January raids. The police actions were carried out in the early morning so children going to Ruth King Elementary School would not witness the raid, said Saggar.

The operation involved 40 police officers from the West Shore RCMP, the RCMP Emergency Response Team, the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit – British Columbia (CFSEU-BC), the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team and Victoria Police.

“We are committed to dismantling and disrupting the drug trade in West Shore,” said Sgt Ryan Walsh, of the West Shore RCMP’s Drugs and Organized Crime Unit.

SWAT team serving search warrant at Hells Angels clubhouse in Sparks, no threat to public

Jesse Kalter, the attorney who represents the local Hells Angels chapter, told News 4-Fox 11 the sheriff’s office is serving a search warrant for property and it is not an arrest warrant.

Kalter added the two parties are working together and they’re cooperating with the investigation.
The police activity is happening outside the Hells Angels clubhouse at 2880 Sullivan Lane. All the school lockdowns nearby have since been lifted.

he Washoe County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team is currently assisting with a warrant service in Sparks and several nearby schools have been placed on a precautionary code yellow lockdown.

The warrant is being served in the area of Sullivan Lane and N. McCarran Blvd as of about 1:45 p.m. on Thursday.
The Washoe County School District said that Sparks Middle School and Risley Elementary School are on a code lockdown due to police activity in the area.

The sheriff’s office said there’s no threat to the public but you’re urged to stay out of the area until further notice.

Drug probe includes search of motorcycle club’s Langford headquarters

West Shore RCMP executed several search warrants Wednesday in relation to a drug-trafficking investigation, including one at the Savages Motorcycle Club headquarters on Spencer Road in Langford.

West Shore’s Drugs and Organized Crime Unit is leading the investigation with assistance from Victoria police and the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of B.C., which targets gangs.

With Spencer Middle School and Ruth King Elementary School in the area, the search at the clubhouse started before the school day to ensure student safety, said Cpl. Nancy Saggar.

“We appreciate the media and public interest in this and can state there is no threat to the public,” Saggar said, adding that police will provide more details regarding the investigation “in the upcoming days.”

The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit said in 2017 that it was monitoring the then newly formed Savages, which was believed to be a puppet club of the Nanaimo chapter of the Hells Angels.

Motorcycle club member sought in fatal South L.A. hit-and-run

Police are asking for the public to help identify a motorcycle rider involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred in the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw neighborhood of Los Angeles last year.
The pedestrian was struck on May 4 at about 11:45 p.m. as the suspect was riding southbound on Western Avenue at 79th Street.

he suspect was riding a newer model Honda Gold Wing motorcycle, the Los Angeles Police Department stated in a news release.

The victim, identified as Raymond Peters, had just parked his vehicle and was crossing Western Avenue when he was struck by the suspect’s motorcycle.

Peters, who died from his injuries, was left on the side of the road as the suspect fled.
The police department obtained video they believe shows the suspect stopped at a nearby gas station to check his motorcycle for damage.

The rider was wearing a red helmet and black vest that law enforcement identified as belonging to a motorcycle club.

“The suspect is a full-patched Chosen Few 1% motorcycle club member,” said LAPD Det. Ryan Moreno. “We don’t know who this individual is yet but we’re actually hoping that he comes forward on his own, so we can talk and get the other side of the story.”

A $50,000 reward is available for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
