SUSPECT(S): 5-10 unknown Members from the “G-ZER” Tribe Bikers
VEHICLE(S): Silver Audi (NFD)
VICTIM(S): One male white adult, for all intense purposes appears not to be Criminal Street Gang or OMG affiliated.
DETAILS: On Saturday, February 25th, 2012, at about 0015 hours, Deputies were dispatched to 8901 Katella Avenue, the “15 – Fifteens” Cocktails, in Anaheim; reference a physical altercation occurring inside/outside the bar, as well as with shots being fired during the incident. The shots were heard coming from the area of the frontage road of Katella Avenue and Mac Street, in unincorporated Anaheim, while the suspects were fleeing the scene in a Silver colored Audi (NFD). The suspects in this case were all seen wearing black leather vests (cuts/colors) with “G-ZER” Tribe Bikers and/or “Prospect” written on them. It is unclear at this time if this club is “Prospecting” the “15 Fifteens” Cocktails, or if this is a one-time incident. Members of this club have been seen at the bar on consecutive weekends. It should also be noted that a Security Staff member/Bouncer for the bar is an admitted member of the “G-ZER” Tribe Bikers and was working at the bar at the time of this incident, and is currently uncooperative with Law Enforcement. At this time, all individual(s) involved in this incident are not in-custody, nor have they been identified.

BACKGOUND:
According to current intelligence, the “G-Zer” Tribe MC started 20-25 years ago as a Sports-bike club in the Commerce area of LA County. They were traditionally a Filipino and Hispanic member club, but currently appear to have crossed over all racial lines. In years past, the “G-ZER” Tribe Bikers became a support club for the Mongols OMG. However, it appears their relationship may have since expired, but are closely related to other numerous Sports-bike clubs in the region. They also belong to an association in L.A. called Southern California Biker Alliance. Although, it appears as though they have remained a Sports-bike club, it appears they have adopted the 1% (OMG) philosophy and protocol. As like with any OMG or Supporter club they should be handled with the highest level of officer safety.

San Francisco, CA — Police have arrested a Hells Angel gang member several months after he was suspected of fatally shooting a fellow member at a funeral for the regional leader of the motorcycle gang.
Steve Ruiz surrendered Saturday evening after San Jose police surrounded his motel in Fremont, police Sgt. Jason Dwyer said Sunday.
Ruiz, 38, had been the subject of a widespread manhunt since Steve Tausan was shot and killed during memorial services for Jeffrey “Jethro” Pettigrew on Oct. 15. Police believe that Ruiz shot Tausan when a fight broke out at the San Jose funeral, which was monitored by police.
Dwyer would not say what led officers to the Day’s Inn motel in Fremont or if any weapons were recovered, but added that Ruiz was considered “armed and dangerous.”
A front desk clerk at the motel, Rey Bayangos, said Ruiz had checked in just two hours before police arrived.
“They used the phone at the front desk, called and asked him to surrender peacefully, and he did surrender,” Bayangos said. “It happened all of a sudden.”
Tausan, 52, was one of 4,000 people attending services for Pettigrew, the president of the Hells Angels’ San Jose chapter. Pettigrew was slain during a brawl with a rival biker gang in a Nevada casino on Sept. 23.
A week after Tausan was killed, police stormed a house in Stockton but came up empty. Investigators also said in December that they had “credible evidence” that Ruiz, a former San Jose resident, had been seen in the city.
Ruiz was booked into Santa Clara County Jail. Dwyer did not have bail information or know if he had been assigned a court date.

SAN BERNARDINO – County prosecutors have dismissed criminal charges against Pastor Palafox, the international president of the Vagos motorcycle club.
Palafox, 47, had been charged with vehicle theft involving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, possession of the stolen motorcycle and street terrorism. He was among several Vagos members whose arrests were announced last year at a news conference at the San Bernardino Police Department.
However, during a hearing Tuesday in San Bernardino Superior Court, Deputy District Attorney Steve Sanchez announced the charges against Palafox had been dropped. Prosecutors would not say why, citing an ongoing investigation.
Defense attorney Joseph Yanny, who represented Palafox, said later that prosecutors lacked probable cause to pursue a case. The motorcycle was part of a sale that had evolved into a civil dispute, and the alleged victim said it wasn’t stolen, he said.
“Hat’s off to Steve Sanchez for seeing the folly of prosecuting this decent man,” said Yanny, outside the courthouse. The lack of probable cause was revealed during requests for discovery, or evidence, from prosecutors, he said.
Two co-defendants in the case, Scott Rivera of San Bernardino, and Caesar Rodriguez of Oak Hills, continue to face charges and are scheduled to return to court Feb. 14.
The defendants were arrested in connection with an 18-month, seven-county investigation into the “upper echelon” of Vagos members by state and local authorities.
Hundreds of handguns and other weapons, including an anti-tank weapon and a rocket launcher, as well as body armor, cocaine, methamphetamine and Vagos clothing were seized by law enforcement officers.
Palafox, of Colton, said taxpayers’ money, which was spent to prosecute him, could have been used in better ways. “Because there was a lot of money wasted here,” he said.
Charges were dismissed in November against Andrew Lozano of Fontana, who was accused of possessing body armor and participating in a street gang. Thomas Henry Gibson of San Bernardino, pleaded no contest in November to possession of marijuana.
Prosecutors, however, say the Vagos investigation was successful.
“In regards to whether or not the raid was successful, the bottom line is that law enforcement was able to confiscate several hundred weapons and remove several pounds of cocaine and methamphetamine off the streets. Therefore, it was a huge success,” said Chris Lee, spokesman for the District Attorney’s Office.
